As a artist.....

I'm enjoying my 1st couple of weeks in California.

Venice Beach has some very retro artistic appeal. Loving the little restaurants with exterior seating, great tea/java shops with lots of choices to explore (free wifi is a plus).

Studios dominate out here for sure, and give a somewhat intimidating visual presence with there heavenly guarded and gated structures.

Other parts of LA are as shady as expected with sizable cities and the current economy, crime etc.

Lunches on Venice Beach will keep me smiling for now :O)

After 2 intense years of non-stop work....

I have finally attained my Bachelor of Science in Computer Animation majoring in VFX.

Today was the graduation ceremony, I really enjoyed it an appreciated the support from many wonderful friends.

I leave for Los Angles 2 days from now.

What will the future hold?

Hello everyone,

Well, I worked myself pretty hard to prep for Siggraph 2009, and I made the deadline.

It was a powerful experience to have my completed reel in hand as I stood among the higher end studios. Its been a long journey to this point, far to go.....

I've met so many wonderful people being a "student volunteer" and had a chance to connect with some old friends.

Now that Siggraph is over, I'll focus on graduating and tuning my skillset further.

It is soooooo important to be involved, ACM Siggraph will have a permanent presence in my life.

Its 6:26 am...I'm in New Orleans, and waiting for the officials to ascend.

Siggraph is hours away from starting and I'm feeling the raw energy of this event already.

Declared VFX as major at my university...

Very excited. Now I have to pull all my earned skills together and produce some high-end output.

I'll soon have that long awaited degree. (SMILES)
